Through-Bar Expansion Shaft

Through Bar Expansion Shaft is a reliable roll handling component designed for efficient clamping and positioning of core materials in continuous production equipment. It uses a long, continuous keyway layout that expands across the whole length of the bar when you pump air into it. This does a good job of distributing the clamping force completely evenly inside the core, so the entire roll locks down tight and stays centered whether you are running a high-speed wind or a heavy unwind cycle.

They built the shaft out of tough, fatigue-resistant materials so it can handle heavy roll weights and continuous bending strain without going out of round or flexing under load. They also put some real work into the internal bladder and sealing system so you aren't constantly dealing with annoying air leaks, and inflating or dropping the air pressure takes just a couple of seconds so your crew can swap out empty cores without blowing past their turnaround targets.
